Hello!
We are Katie and Sam
(Aka the ‘Fox’ and ‘Monkey’ behind our company name!), a married couple with a 1 year old Daughter who share a passion for interiors, woodworking and the beauty of the natural world. Both growing up in the countryside, we have a huge connection to nature and are extremely passionate about preserving and protecting this. We have always lived by the ethos 'buy what you believe in' and truly stand by that message when we create our products! Our mission is to connect back to nature and inspire sustainable living within our homes and the furniture we purchase.
Sam’s passion for woodworking began back in 2008 when he was also performing in London’s West End. During this time he met Katie, who was performing in another musical a few streets away, and the rest is history! ‘Monkey Boys Workshop’ was created and became a successful furniture making business and social media platform. ‘The Fox Home’ started as a way to develop a passion for Interior design and content creation. After moving out of London into our first home together and opening our Bedfordshire workshop, ‘Fox and Monkey’ was born and we love working together and creating new ideas every day!

Our aim is to produce pieces for the home to truly treasure and that represent a contribution to a more sustainable (and stylish!) world. In essence, we wanted to build a brand that reflects our values, passion and love for the craft, ensuring each product is designed with a sophisticated, one of a kind home in mind.

Fox and Monkey products are made using high quality, locally sourced materials and sustainable hardwoods. All of our packaging and stationery are recyclable, and we strive to ensure we use ethical brands who share our ethos when purchasing items for the business.
For every order placed, we plant a tree with the environmental charity ‘One Tree Planted’. This simple act really does make a huge difference and we are proud to contribute towards such a tremendous cause and give back to the Earth. Our planet is beautiful, let’s take care of it!
